I know deep down that marriage IS possible, despite all the difficulties it would entail, and despite all the criticisms and frustrations vented in the blogworld at times. Love is a beautiful thing, and no one can discount it, whether it is a mixed-orientation relationship or not.

Once again, thanks.Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04981028573755481938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6450854270080513022.post-42509017607743999472007-11-15T11:21:00.000-08:002007-11-15T11:21:00.000-08:00Good post ... it resonates with what I've experien...Good post ... it resonates with what I've experienced.Kengo Biddleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12083962910965544925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6450854270080513022.post-32839070922809794322007-11-15T10:13:00.000-08:002007-11-15T10:13:00.000-08:00Thank you for posting this. All I know is I really needed someone to talk to last night and I am so thankful you were willing. ;) I don't know what will happen in the future for me or you, but I stand by what I said, that I know the Lord's plan will make me the happiest, whatever it might entail. I think that's one of the most important things to keep in mind. Oh and thank you for the chocolate therapy too. I might need it again soon.Nicholehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12254379774458667454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6450854270080513022.post-66428156675973296182007-11-15T09:59:00.000-08:002007-11-15T09:59:00.000-08:00Anyone who knows me understands that I would never...Anyone who knows me understands that I would never marry anyone for the purpose of conforming to religious constructs--or for any reason other than love. Anyone who has met my husband and I should go away from us with the realization that, whatever the "quirks" within our marriage, we are the best of friends, we build each other, we enjoy every aspect of each other, and we are married because we want to spend each day together. Perhaps this is incomprehensible to some. You seem to be coming closer to understanding--and while I would never encourage anyone to do as I have done and enter into a mixed-orientation marriage, it's nice to know there are those who try to understand with open hearts and minds.Samanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02216416424593449924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6450854270080513022.post-76935666669250024662007-11-15T09:21:00.000-08:002007-11-15T09:21:00.000-08:00Beautiful post made me want to cry.Beautiful post made me want to cry.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
