The Many Meanings of "Moho"
So, I had a couple of hits to my blog from people who had Googled "my mohos" or something similar. I thought, "What might they have been looking for? I decided to consult the Urban Dictionary. Apparently, there's an abundance of alternate meanings for our quaint little gay mormon term, and not all of them are entirely flattering. I am posting this for the education of my readers to avoid potentially embarrassing situations in the future when referring to yourselves by a term which could have slightly non-virtuous connotations (and nobody wants to be seen as slightly non-virtuous). You can thank me in various forms of payment, preferably involving dark chocolate.

I haven't checked yet, but some of them must be less-than-virtuous because my school network has the site blocked...
A an alum of Mount Holyoke College and thus a moho, I have always chuckled at mormon homosexuals' proprietary use of the term.
I, for one, have not claimed proprietary use. I've even posted before about the term "moho" used by other people. Fun stuff. In fact, I think I have more I've never published. :-)
So, "anonymous", I'm curious...are you a "moho" in more than one sense of the word, or are you just fascinated by our little subculture? :-)
If I was Mormon, then I could claim "moho" twice. But I am not.
And yes, I am interested in reading about how other gay Christians live their lives.
